Who is responsible

What this site does not do

No tracking or advertising cookies, no analytics, no profiles. The site loads no fonts, scripts or embeds from anyone else: every file comes from our own server, and the page's security policy blocks requests to other hosts.

If you choose light or dark mode, your browser keeps that one setting. It stays in your browser and is not sent to us.

When you visit

When your browser loads a page, our server records the time, the page, your IP address, the browser's identification and the server's answer. We use this only to run the site and protect it against misuse, and delete it after 14 days.

The server's error log can also hold the requested host and the referring page; it is deleted after 14 days.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

When you write to us

The contact form asks for your name, company, work email and which process costs you most; your phone number is optional. We use these details to answer you and, if you want, to talk about working together as a design partner.

To stop automated misuse, the server counts requests per IP address for a few minutes; the count is not stored.

We do not pass your details to anyone else, sell them, use them for advertising or use them to train AI models.

Legal basis: steps you ask for before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

How long we keep it

We delete contact requests automatically 12 months after your last message unless we work together.

If a contract follows, we keep business records as long as the law requires: in Germany under the HGB and AO, in Switzerland under the OR and GeBüV, usually up to ten years.

Server logs are deleted after 14 days.

Backups of the server are kept for at most 3 days, so a deleted request is gone from them within 3 days.

Who processes data for us

We use these processors, each under a data-processing agreement:

· Hosting: Hostinger International Ltd., Cyprus; the server stands in Germany.

· Email: Infomaniak Network SA, Switzerland.

Where your data is

Your data stays in Germany (the web server, at Hostinger in Frankfurt) and Switzerland (email, at Infomaniak) and is not transferred to other countries.

Your rights

You may ask what data we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. Under the GDPR you may also restrict processing, receive your data in a common format and object to processing based on our legitimate interest. The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) gives you the right of access and the rights to correction and deletion. Write to contact@omnizel.com.

You may complain to a supervisory authority: in the EU to the authority where you live or to ours, the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg; in Switzerland to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

No automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone.

Changes

When what we do with data changes, we update this notice; the date at the top shows its version.
